Photo Archive Miners CIC are a non-profit organisation that work with the public and institutions to repurpose photographic collections to create new stories about people and place.

Established in 2016 as a Community Interest Company. Our office is next to Coventry train station with parking too!

Photo Archive Miners are three people, Jason, Ben and Mark. We work with institutions such as museums and galleries to develop their digital participation strategies by repurposing photographic archives for work with the public.

We use co-production as a technique to bring out the hidden stories within communities, and narrate these stories by curating exhibitions. Community stories through exhibitions capture the public attention more and bring policy makers and communities closer together.

Please check our Projects page for our current projects, including who funds us.

Our current work is with Arts Council England, Coventry City Council, Coventry City of Culture Trust and the Belgrade Theatre.
